Personal Statement

As a general pediatrician and pediatric hospitalist, my goal is to collaborate with patients, families, and health care team members to provide care that is both family-centered and evidence-based. I take time to understand the beliefs and desires of every patient and family member I care for, whether in the nursery, the outpatient office, or in the hospital.

In additional to practicing clinical medicine, my interests lie in medical education, helping to train the next generation of practicing pediatricians. I am also a health services researcher with interests in how we can better use technology to improve the care of patients.
